My last 6 month insurance bill was $560, now its $441 for 6 months.

I called my insurance co and asked if they made and error?

They said that with the higher gas prices I will be driving less.

What gives them the right to say what I will do or not do?

This is driving me crazy!

I smell a rat!

same coverage, no change

  1. And you are complaining ?

  2. Insurance company rate their customers on the probability of them getting into accidents. If people are driving less, the probablities decrease....so insurance companies can charge less, as they expect less payouts.

What rat are you smelling? Sounds like they are doing the right thing in lowering the price.

Doesn't sound like they are telling you what to do.....they are telling you that people in general are driving less. Touchy. Touchy.

  3. you earn a bonus for not claiming, meaning they reduce your insurance premium,
