Why is my betta fish fat??? Urgent!?

He has a white buldge at the front of him. when you hold him up to light you can tell that there is not food in it its just like all air in his buldge. Also i put a plant in his tank but he wont even go near it?? Why? And hes not constipated and i have fed him the cooked pea already.

Research dropsy. That's what it sounds like. Be warned, though. If it is dropsy, then the cause of it has probably already almost killed the fish. Dropsy is usually a final stage before death.
