Why is my bicycle in this online musuem?

Question

I bought my raleigh elkhorn mountain bike at an auction. I later found it on the internet at this bicycle musuem website. What makes my bicycle so special that it was featured on this site? How much did the bike cost in 1985 when it was first released? And do you think it will be worth much if I sell it, assuming its in good shape. I've tried to look up the price of the bike on the net but have no luck.

Its one of the first Mountain Bike models.

You could try selling it on eBay...
