Why is my boat turning weird?

alright we just bought a 2001 Ebbtide campione 210 from Douglas Sporting Goods in Princeton, WV. we took it out as soon as we got it and sure enough it didnt have alot of gas in it. the boat ran and rode excellent. its in great shape. it has a 45 gallon gas tank on it and we stopped and filled it up all the way 1 day before a day on the lake but wen we got there it was hard to take turns at even half throttle. we did have more people on the boat but nothing over the 10 passager limit could the full tank of gas have anything to do with the way the boat turns it acts like its gonna flip

45 gallons of gas is just under 300 lbs it will make some difference. The boat should still preform and turn just under the high end performance. Something is not right there or left somewhere you need to have it checked out. If you had the full weight capacity in the boat and full of fuel the hole shot is going to be reduced and it may be a little sluggish on the turns. Remember the 10 passenger limit has nothing to do with a real limit. It said 10 passenger or how many pounds of weight. So with a cooler of beer water sky's life jackets and all that other stuff where you over loaded?

you had better check your steering cable it may need to be replaced. or you may have lost you skag.

Weight changes the way a boat handles remarkably.

If you have that thing loaded down with people and gear it is going to affect the handling.

My ski boat is a very different boat when loaded with eight adults (the USCG limit) than it is with two.

"Acts like it is going to flip" is not a good thing, try and run her empty and see if you can find the tipping point in terms of handling. No pun intended.

It might, but also make sure that all your people, gear, etc  are distributed around the boat by weight it makes a huge difference.
