when i took my 9 week old doe out for her run today i noticed that her eye was all wet and red. the fur under her eye was also wet.

i wiped the fur a bit and put her back in her cage, but when i went back, about 30mins after, it had seemed to have gotten worse?

  1. my bunny did that too.

he was really tame. i just put him upside down in my lap and squeezed a drop of visine into his eye, and he was perfectly fine the next day.

  2. Okay. If she has a runny nose, this means she may have a respitory infection. avoid touching her eye.Get her to the vet asap. If her nose is not runny, check her teeth. They could be too long and be affecting the way her eye works.

If her teeth are fine, take her to the vet anyway, she might have scratched her eyeball, have something in her eye, or a number of other things.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Oh i'm really sorry to say but your bunny may have mixamatosis.

Its fatal and cannot be cured.

    I'm so sorry.
