i have 7 evergreen trees (conifers) outside my front window and they have gradually started turning brown the first 3 are nearly all brown, except for the very tops, and its spreading along to the others! i think one of the neighbours are poisoning them as i'm the only house on the street with them - these trees don't die do they?

  1. Sounds like they may just need some water! Since the tops are still green (the tops always get the most sources as they are the newest part.) However, soil conditions could have alot to do with it and yes it could be the neighbors poisoning them but I seriously doubt it. Since the poison would go to the top and most likely injur it first. Seriously, check the water situation. Is it too wet? Too dry?

  2. Maybe because it is getting hotter and drier weather? I think white pines are more susceptible to the weather..
