Why is my cancer guy friend acting weird now?

After 10 years my high school friend and I reunited 3 months ago. I found him on myspace. We exchanged emails and phones #'s and have been in frequent contact ever since. Anyway we realized we are really sexual attracted to one another and decided to pursue a sexual relationship. However, I'm totally fine with our decision. But he's been acting weird lately. He'll constantly ask me if I'm catching feelings for him and like always my answer is no. Then he'll say oh thats good then. He'll bring up other females he has previously slept with and ask if I'm jealous. Like always I saw no. If I say a guy is attractive he gets pissy with me. He even had the nerve to tell me I treat him like a temporary boyfriend. Then he told me that it seems like he will never meet my family. What gives? Oh, btw we are both 26 yrs old.

I came across your question regarding your Cancer friend and had to e mail you... but I cannot.  Dang it!!! My crush is also a cancer and he behaves much like you have described your man does.  We are almost four months into keeping time together, and he drives me crazy, but I always play it off.  At the moment, he is in one of his moods, and I have not heard from him for two weeks.  I refuse to chase his dumb ***, and he knows this... As far as I can tell, Cancer boyz will pursue something when it is important enough.  So, if you like this friend of yours, don't put it all out there, but just go with the flow and let him lead, girl. :) And please, if you have not had s*x w each other, hold off until he begs for it and you know this one is a keeper.  We have not had it and I know for a fact that he appreciates my goodness.

wow, this sounds like me when i really like a guy. as a fellow cancer, let me tell you that he likes you. not the wierd possessive kind but the really likes you maybe fall-in-love future kind of like. we cancers dont know how to trully express ourselves and to top it off, he is a guy. you should take it slow or simply ask him if he likes you and want to take your relationship to the next level

Cancer guys are weird.  They're a water sign, so he's very emotional.  His jealousy even explains it.  If I were you, I wouldn't think of sleeping with him, especially if he's acting all weird about it.  Go onto the next guy.

he's probably thinking of you as HIS. he's most likely looking for a serious relationship, although you seem like you're a bit more freedom-spirited.

us crabbies are very possessive, and extremely jealous. we get angry at the slightest glance from others to our mates, since we are known as the protectors of the zodiac.

obviously, he feels that a sexual relationship is also a serious relationship.  cancerians are clingy, so he probably thinks that you guys are more attatched than you believe you are.

hey piscies, im know exactly whats happening.

Im a cancer andi have dated a psicean aswell and i know whats going on in his head. He feels insecure with you and cancer always needs reasurance because they get scared they will loose the ones they love. He is scared he likes you more then you like him and wants to test you. It takes cancer a long time to trust, but once he trusts you and opens up he will be an amazing person. I have been guilty of trying to make my piscean boyfriend jealous because it seemed like he didnt care enough? this is why cancers dont mind the possessive type because they like someone to prove and show they always want him. Cancer is the only sign that thinks he is no good no matter how fantastically brilliant they are. They never feel loved and it is because they are soo sensitive they feel so deeply. He was just telling you that about his family to try and get a reaction from you to see if you care. I broke up with my piscean boyfriend for someone more stable because he didnt show he cared. If you like him, tell him how you feel and he will feel more secure and return your feelings by being warm and resceptive. No matter how cancer appears he always cares deeply and thinks others dont. Dont bring up other guys your attracted to, and he shoudlnt do that to you, it only creates tension and fear in the relationship.
