Why is my cat being sick?

She may have managed to lap up cream mushroom cheese n bacon sauce and also nibbled on pizza. She is allowed outside. She has been sicking up creamy coloured liquid and then her actual cat food. After this she ate some fresh new cat food and has not been sick again yet. Please help, do mushrooms make cats sick. Is there anything apart from grass that make cats sick specifically? Please help - I no I should have binned uneaten food straight away.Thanks for your time.

The cream and cheese is what made her sick. Cows milk causes cats to throw-up and have diarrhea. Keep your cat away from dairy. If your really concerned, call your vet and ask for advice. Good luck.

Well first of all maybe its because she ate  cream mushroom cheese n bacon sauce and also nibbled on pizza!

Cats are suppose to have cat food and maybe sometimes some tuna/sardines/plain chicken etc

It was probably the creamyness of the sauce cats aren't suppose to have human milk/cream they are suppose to have cat milk

It's probably the cream in the cream mushroom cheese that's made her sick. Contrary to mythology, cats can't digest cow's milk or cream because they are lactose intolerant and the end product if they do drink either is being sick and/or diarrhoea.

Keep an eye on her over the next 24 hours just to make sure she doesn't end up getting diarrhoea as well. If she does, don't feed her anything for 12 hours to let her digestive system clean out then try her with some plain food like grilled or boiled chicken for her first meal and give her a small amount of her favourite wet food as her second. She should be ok after this.

Other than eating something that disagrees with their stomach, yes, grass is the only thing they will willingly seek and eat to make themselves involuntary sick.
