Why is my cat is losing a tooth? ?

she was a stray and I let her in a month ago..i took her to the vet and the vet said she was about 3-4 years old..and she was already missing a tooth...2day my brother realized one of her teeth was still attached to the gum but it was already out, I dunno wat to do..is it gonna fall off by itself? wat happens if she swallows it??

more and likely fall out if its loose. if it falls out it falls out theres nothing you can do about it and if your cat swallows it nothing will happen either. Its not going to choke on it or cause internal injuries if thats what your worried about.  It will just pass through the digestive system and thats all.

If she swallows the tooth it will go though.  If you can grasp that tooth with a paper towel or a piece of cotten (show that it will not slip) then try this and pull it out. But what kind of vet did you take the cat to.  Your cat obviously has a gum disease and, likely contracted it while living in the streets.  Take her to another vet and explain about her gum problem and I think they can check the problem.  Don't take no for an answer, because at times vets try to give you a lot of talk about nothing and then charge you for it.

Back when my dog was a puppy I would find her teeth on my wood floor all the time...

its natural, what cats cant lose teeth too? When i was sitting down my cat decided he'd bite my hand, and he lost a tooth! Its no concern

well when they lose there baby teeth they swallow them.

also cats are strong.

you should take your cat to the doctor.

She may have been malnurished at some point, that could cause it.

Take her to the vet dude.

You sure do love your pets, I commend you for taking such good care of them.
