Why is my cat jumping?

Question

i went outside about 2 hours ago and i found my cat playing with a lizard. she was toying with it. MY Cat is a Killer! about a hour later she was super jumping. She would run around chasing the birds. She started to playing like a dog. Then she started running around alot. She's normaly a good cat, she's outside, never leaves my yard. gets attention ususually she just lays around being all lazy and lethargic.

but today she was different i wonder if she has rabbies? or if she is starting to do drugs

She is all excited that is all!!! It is normal- cats don't smoke- they can't hold it in their paws!!! lol

sounds like 'mad half hour' that cats get sometimes-it's just a build up of energy that needs released and her hunting the lizard probably triggered it
