Question:

Why is my cat l*****g his paw so much?

today my cat has been constantly l*****g his front paw. i dont know why.

i used a wet cloth to kind of "wash it off" myself yet he still is l*****g himself and i cant stop him from doing so.

is it just nothing or could there be something wrong?

please help!

  1. Look in between the cats pads to make sure there is nothing in there that is bothering him. If he is otherwise acting normal and you don't find anything between the pads, I would say that he ok.  Watch to see if the behavior continues and then take him vet.  In the mean time call your vet and get their opinion.  My guess if something is wrong it maybe a skin allergy.  Good luck with your kitty


  2. there is probably nothing wrong all cats l**k their paws as it is a way of cleaning themselves.

    it may be that he has got something stuck in there like a grass seed or something, from outside - this happens to my cat all the time!

    leave it a couple of days and if he is still l*****g his paw loads then take a trip down the vets.

  3. it may be fine but he may have hurt it or something may be stuck in it or it could have a smell on it he doesnt like either way it is harmless if he licks it
