Why is my cat on the table in harvest moon ds cute?

I picked up my cat, and when i let go it was on the table, then the next day i triewd and it didnt work. Does it mean anything?

Well I know there is a glitch that if you have something delivered to inside your house, when you go back in from getting it delivered your pet is on that object!

And there is no way to cure this (that I know of...) except to reload your game to before it is delivered, and move your pets outside.

But if you say you can drop your cat onto the table, and pick him/her up again, then all I can say is WOW!! I certainly can't!
