  1. eating wild animals is probably bad for him.  if he has been eating like that for awhile, he may be sick now.  i would take him to a vet and have him checked out.  i would also change his food to something easier to eat..more of a mushy type of food and try to keep him indoors for awhile, so he does not eat wild animals.

  2. He is just trying to cough up a hairball. Mine did it all the time and hair was mixed in it.

  3. Sounds like he's not chewing his food. And, with him being such a hunter, bones, fir and other parts of his kills can get stuck in his stomach. I had this problem with one of my males that used to hunt a lot. I used to give him a half teaspoon of soft butter or margarine on a spoon. I was lucky that he liked both, he would eat it right from the spoon. It helped him digest the "junk" that was in his stomach.

  4. Please get ur cat to the vet a.s.a.p. He sounds very sick and u really shouldnt ignore it. He could get worse day by day and since he is vomiting alot the means he's getting dehydrated.. (is he drinking water?) dehydration is serious so my advise is, don't wait, please get him to the vet. Goodluck

  5. If it's just mainly unchewed food you are seeing, that means he's probably eating too fast. If you see hair in the vomit, you need to treat him for hair balls. Try using Petromalt every day for at least a week and see if it helps. If the vomiting continues, take him to the vet and have him checked out, it might be an intestinal problem.

  6. It's most likely bulimia.

  7. If your cat throws up once after eating a meal its okay but more than that should be reported to the vet. If your cat also eats grass and throws up after wards than that's okay. It could also be a sign of over eating. If he eats the mice and his normal cat food then that may be why your cat is throwing up. So if your cat is eating anything besides cat food than it must be an unneutered cat because unneutered cats tend to hunt and eat animals or birds more so I suggest you neuter it.

  8. My cat does the same thing except that he is constantly throwing up pieces of plastic.  He likes to eat plastic bags from the grocery store.  If his food is till whole then he is eating too fast.  I would leave a little food outside in case he is hungry while he's out roaming around and you may not be there to let him in.  I would make sure he's not laying around not wanting to move or has a fever.  He could just have an upset tummy.  I always say call the vet and ask what they think.
