Why is my cat walking around the house meowing?

my cat is about 5 months old. ive had him for too long to be looking for his mother. and he has food and water. and everything he needs. but he walks aroound the house all the time meowing, consantly. like he wants something. i try and play with him and give him attention but it doesnt help. anyone know why he does this?

Some cats are just more vocal the others. Some will be silent and some will never shut up. It amazes me how they never lose their voice lol

Maybe he has detected a female cat who is in season.  He's about the age where that might be starting to interest him.  Get him fixed.

is your cat healthy? my orange tabby was crying a lot for a few days(though he was much older than yours) then he started to show signs of being sick. wasn't eating and was visibly having trouble urinating. turned out he had a urinary tract infection. it was awful, we almost lost him.

if your cat is a male and has not been fixed most likely he smells a female  out side . a male cat can get mean if you don,t let him out side and some times they can hurt you

get your cat fixed as soon as you can
