Why is my cats stomach hard?

its 2X its normal size, and very hard, could it be because shes not going to the bathroom? what should i do to fix it?

It's time to go to the vet.  I had a cat years ago that had to have her uteus removed (she had not been spayed) and her uterus had inflamed and enlarged to three times its normal size.  I was fortunate that she didn't die.  She was not showing any symptoms for some time or I would have caught it sooner.  Your cat is showing symptoms, so get her taken care of as quickly as possible, it could be quite serious.  Think of how you would feel if it were you.

Maybe its time to go to the vet. If she's not going to the bathroom it could kill her. Or maybe she's pregnant

I had the same problem with my cat. The cat is probably constipated and all the food its eating is backing up in the intestines. We took it to the vet and the vet put an e***a in the cats but and it flushed out all the  stuff.

If a kitten, a definite sign of worms unless your kitten has already been treated.  And if treated, were there negative follow up tests?

And if an adult cat that goes outside and catches critters, again the likelihood of worms.

well, do you have a litter box?  is she using it? if not, maybe that's why her stomach is distended.  Is there a chance she's pregnant?

I suggest you get her to an emergency veterinary clinic ASAP if your normal vet is closed for the weekend.

tumor? unlikely.. but she may be pregnant... either way she needs to be checked over by a vet to make sure everything is normal inside.

ADD: if it is constipation, try feeding her real canned pumpkin (not the filler) if this doesn't work in 12hrs, take her to the vet ASAP.

she may have worms....take her to the vet, they can give you something to help her.

Is it doing a lot of situps?  Have you found any videos such as "Abs of Steel" around the house you don't remember buying?
