Why is my clear history button greyed out in my history box?

Some strange settings for the Internet Explorer History has blocked it.  Sorry, never seen that happen and good luck finding the answer.

But you can clear History on you yahoo toolbar.  Click on the pencil in your yahoo toolbar.  Click on "Clear Search History" from there.

If that's not the one you are talking about, then it's the IE box you need.  

Click on Tools->Internet Options.  The "Clear Search History" is in the lower section of this box for you to click on.
