  1. You must pay your balance in full.

  2. as long as you owe money interest will accure!!!

  3. it must be in the credit card agreement you signed to open it in the first place

  4. Both credit card accounts can be accruing interest.

If the account has been sold off to a collection agency, you are less likely to see balance increases for the interest -- they will still try to charge you for it.

  5. Interest accrues on credit card debt until the debt is paid in full.

  6. Just because the account is closed doesn't mean you don't ower what you racked up. As long as you leave a balance there it will keep attracting interest. Eventually you'll get a court summons for judgement against you when the creditor decides to sue.
