Why is my computer being sooo slow??

Question

i deleted a lot of space and i have a little more than 200 mb of free space on my computer! do you have any suggestions to make it run faster?? (i also dont have any viruses or anything

For running slow there are many causes:

Microsoft Registry Problems = Slow Computer!

Spyware/Adware

RAM

De-Fragmenting

Etc.

Below can help you speed up your pc:

Manage your startup:

Open your Start menu  ->  Click Run ->  In the command screen type "msconfig.exe" ->  In the "system configuration utility", click either "service" or "startup" tab ->  Uncheck all programs that your are no longer using.

De-Fragmenting

1. Right click of C Disk.

2. Click properties.

3. Click tools tab.

4. Click "Defragment now".

5. Click Defragment.

You can search which process full use you cpu, and end the process.

Under steps:

1. right click on the TaskBar.

2. click the Task Manager.

3. click the processes tab.

4. double click the CPU.

5. find if the "System Idle Process" is max.

6. if not right click and click end process.

What it's 200MB-that's nothing. You need to clean up more: run ,defrag,delete temp files,cookies and MOST of all all the old programs you never use but you have them on your computer.Did you ever empty your recycle bin?

OH ! resize your pictures to 1024X768 .But only the ones you don't want to print out bigger than 10x12 in. Then delete your old ones-that will help you a lot,with your 200MB.

200 Meg of free space means nothing without knowing the size of the HDD.  System will require 10% of free space for the swap files to run properly.  If you have less than a 20Gig HDD, you don't have enough free space.
