  1. This is happening because you may have a virus (probably a trojan) but the best thing to do right now is to get it to an expert fast so they can at least try to save some of your data or else...

  2. IF it isn't your harddrive, then check the capacitors on your motherboard.

  3. Something like that happened to me, I would turn on my computer & it would start like it was going to the Windows screen & then it would disappear & restart all over again. I would have to hit F8 to get it to stop doing that & no matter what I did I couldn't get it to get to the Windows screen. I called emachines & told them what it said on the screen. I ended up having to pay $170.00 to get the hard drive fixed. I hope your problem is not what happened to me... good luck.

*** I just saw your additional details & that is exactly what it said on my screen when I clicked on safe mode.

  4. The most likely causes are:

You have a failed hard disk (disk crash).  You will have to replace the hard disk if this is true.   Depending, sometimes when this happens, you get errors like No Disk Detected

Or missing O/S files like a message that says NO NTDLR detected...or No System Disk Detected, insert boot disk and reboot...something like that.  This usually indicates the oeprating system is corrupted but the hard disk is OK.  If you do not have a recovery disk, you will have to reinstall the operating system.

You recently installed some device and/or a new driver and this is in conflict with your computer.  Remove the new device first.  By device, I mean, like an external USB hard disk, a joystick, or something external to the computer you ADDED.

If it is a driver, see if you can sneak into the system via Safe Mode, on boot, hold down F6, when the menu comes up, choose Safe Mode without networking, go into control panel, uninstall the driver you installed.
