  1. Hi,

this is easy to fix just do this please, download an run CCleaner this will safely delete all your temp files etc for you (it will also correct your reg files as well) then reboot back into safe mode again (press F8 as it reboots) and defrag your hard drive to get all your free space back again. this will help you.

  2. There are a lot of reasons why a computer can be slow.

One thing you can do is to defragment the hard drive.  Assuming you're using Windows, go to Start menu, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and click on Disk Defragmenter.  It takes an hour or so to run, so start it and then do something else for a while.

Another thing:  Delete all programs that you know you'll never use anymore.  If you have a lot of big files (like pictures, videos, etc.), either delete ones that you don't care about, or copy them to CDs or DVDs, or to an external hard drive.

  3. If you have an older computer, it will generally be slow

Push and hold the Windows Logo Key, (located between the Ctrl and Alt buttons, and looks like the windows logo), and then push the "Break" key.

This will bring up a screen that tells how fast your processor is, usually located below Computer:

If it is below 1.2 Ghz (equal to 1200 Mhz), then it is slow, even below 1.6 is slow.

    You might need more RAM.

If you haven't restarted your computer in a while, try restarting.
