  1. I had a similar problem with my dog, I was suggested by my vet, Music My Pet cd. It plays classical music specially designed for pets to make them go to sleep or just calm down and relax. I didn't think it would work but then I gave it a shot and it works perfectly, even calming me down when I get stressed. The music was made by the same guy who wrote all the music for the entire baby Einstein series. Check the site out, I know they are having a deal for a little longer with Petco, so try it.

  2. Dogs are very much in touch with feelings. The fact that your male dog is defining situations as "problems" is impacting the female.

The easiest - and safest suggestion is to be sure that there is a good fence between your dog and people who are stopping by to visit. It may take a while for the dogs to be totally people-safe. Preventing a problem may be your best solution.

  3. Get the male castrated if not already done and take him and the female to training classes.
