Why is my dog not very energetic and eats only once a day?

I havnt seen anything unhealthy but hes not very energetic as before he just lays on my bed all day and sleeps sometimes and eats only once a day? Is it because hes gettin older and mature? Hes 4 year old snoodle

1. Do you play with your dog and keep him active? Because if you do not, dogs will just sleep because they are bored, and he may not be eating a lot because he is not exercising. If you want your dog to be more active, then you have to be more active with your dog. Throw him the ball, stimulate him, take him for walks, and I bet he will be rowdier.

2. If you already keep your dog active, then your dog should be taken to the vet to be checked out. Is he displaying any other symptoms? You said that he only eats once a day; have you tried feeding him twice?
