Why is my dog scared of feathers ?

My 2 year old staffie is scared of feathers if she see one she walks around it why is this ??

Ah my dog was the same. My vet told me its because he was probably eaten or attacked by a huge bird in a past life..couldn't forget even in this life.

I think he was joking though.

White feathers are supposed to be the sign that someone from the spirit world is around you maybe your dog is picking this spirit up as their senses are more acute than humans

Dogs can be afraid of many things my dog is afraid of the TV remote, there's no cure that's the way it is.

MAY B WHEN HE WAS OUTSIDE HE HAD A NASTY RUN  IN WITH A BIRD,THEY HAVE FEATHERS.

odds are she tried to sniff one and it tickled her nose and now she avoids them, that or she may have been picked at by a bird while outside.

Many dogs have corks, Usually if you make them deal with their issue they see there is nothing to fear. She may just not like the look of them.
