  1. You have to let him know that his behavior is wrong. Set up a situation where you give him attention and then stop when he starts barking etc. Never give him the attention when he is hyped up but focus on him when he is calm. This promoted him being calm.

  2. aww, there is nothing wrong with your dog being attached to you.  he loves you so much thats all.  you should be a proud owner.  good luck.

Side note: who ever voted me negative is an idiot.

  3. He loves you.

  4. He is your dog and ur his world, they only love and wish to be loved in return.

He also may have some dominance issues.

But it could also be that ur dog, whatevr breed it may be, has a alot of energy, and just needs to be tired out. play with him, walk him (if nessecary twice a day), and anything else u can think of that would make you tired, will mostly make him tired.

  5. Ignore him.

    He'll get over it.

  6. two reason

    (1) it loves you

    (2) it may had pee on you and the smell make you his property and thats why its is attached to you

  7. Elkin was on to something but kinda mashed the thought up.

Your dog may possibly be showing signs of dominant behavior.  He may be trying to manipulate you into doing what he wants.  He may see you as his possession or follower and when you do not do what he wants you to do like stop the treadmill and pay attention to him, he might just be getting mad.  The crying you describe may be vocalized frustration at not being able to control you and the situation he is in.

It would take a home visit from a dog behaviorist to determine if your dog is being dominant or if he is anxious.

  8. Try giving him a little more attention, take him for a walk every day, spend an hour in the back yard playing with him, wear him out, then go do your things.  He's craving your attention because he feels the bond between the two of you most strongly.  It might be a good idea to introduce others in your home to walking with the two of you, trading off the leash so he gets used to it, as well as playing with him, get someone else involved with you.

  9. he'll just want to play with you because you take good care of him and it is just a sign of love it's just like my dog!
