Why is my dwarf frog not shedding?

Question

I have had my dwarf frog in a tank for about 8 months now, and he or she (I can't tell) has never shedded it's skin, how long does it often take for a dwarf frog to mature to the point of shedding it's skin? Does shedding depend on it's gender? I have no other fish in this tank.

im not quite sure about this, but i think it may have something to do with the temperature.  i dont think gender matters.
