Why is my eyelid swelling?

Question

This morning I woke up with a sore eyelid that hurt when I blinked. I looked in the the mirror and it was noticeably bigger than the other one.

Anyone know what's going on? My parents say it might be a bug bite, but it doesn't itch...

This is a weird question, but help!

Do u wear eye makeup often? I do, & thats happened to me before. Dident last more than a day though.

My sister had the same symptoms caused by improper care of contact lenses. It was actually viral infection. She also had red, swollen and sore eyelids. I know something that you can do in case you have, but before anything else check with physician if it is serious.

Apply warm moist compress for 5 minutes, 3-4 times a day that can help relive discomfort and swelling. Do not use make –up around eyelids during compresses and wash your hand when you apply something.
