My Uncle gave my son a white ferret for Christmas. Every since we had him, it bleeds from mouth and rear maybe every two months or so.

It only last maybe 20 minutes and he is weak at first but then he gets up and plays.

  3. i would go to a vet. i could be anything.

  4. You should have took him to the vet when it first started. Take the ferret to the vet and also pets dont make good gifts.

  5. Bleeding is very serious and dark, tarry stools are a symptom of an ulcer.  Unfortunately none of us here are vets and the best thing you can do is get this ferret to a ferret knowledgeable vet ASAP.  With him bleeding no doubt he is anemic.  I've had ferrets for almost 15 years and have dealt with just about everything and have never had a ferret bleed orally and rectally.  Please get him to a vet.

  6. you need to take ferret to the vet. that is not normal at all . something is definatly wrong good luck
