  1. do you mean it is wearing the shirt if so take it off ferrets overheat easily if there are shirts on the floor of the cage the laundry detergent used in the shirt may be irritating the ferrets skin. Use all natural laundry detergent or baby detergent no fabric softner unless it is all natural. Move the ferret out of your room if you need sleep i learned the hard way after having mine in my room for 3 months. now i sleep peacefully hooray.

  2. What exactly do you mean?

Your ferret is scratching himself, or trying to get out? You'd need to let us know what else is in the cage. If it's that he's trying to get out, give treats, toys, hammocks...not just a shirt in the cage for him to sleep in. and letting him out to play until he is tired and you find him asleep somewhere - then putting him in his cage - he will be so tired, he will sleep.

If he's scratching himself, ferrets do that - a lot - even when they don't have fleas. If it's truly excessive he could be allergic to your laundry detergent. We use All with no additives  - or you could just as well was the shirt without soap. Yes, it works. Or he could have food allergies.

  3. prob he doesn't like the shirts in the cage? take them out and see if he/she still does it
