Why is my fondant crumbly?

I made some rolled fondant with confectioners sugar, crisco, and karo syrup. After i got it made it was very droopy and i couldn't do anything with it. so i added just a little tiny bit (about 1-2 tablespoons) to it and now it is sooo crumbly it just falls apart. If i try to cut anything out of it it falls apart when i try to pick it up. I have added some crisco back to it so see if that would help at all and it hasn't. Does anyone have any ideas or pointers? Thank!!!!

  1. when you roll out your fondant take little bits of water like drops and that should smooth it out but don't use to much. Good luck
