Question:

Why is my forehead so ridiculously oily?

Lately, my forehead has been like a oil spill! My cheeks are a little oily as is the top of my nose near my eyes. I use the Neutragena Beauty Bar in the shower every morning to wash my face and then I use astringent after that and I haven't been moisturizing because of the oil. I'm 21 so its not like I'm going through puberty and having oily skin so how can I fix the oiliness? I've used the Neutragena white cream cleanser, but that usually dries out my skin - should I go back to that and then just moisturize?

  1. take vitamin A tablets they suck up sebum (oil) on your body and that icludes your face and if you do not belive me. look it up i have been using it for three weeks and it has not ouil got rid of oil but cleared up 80 percent of my acne.

  2. go to CVS and buy the clean and clear kit it worked 4 me in like 2 days=D

plus it come with these wipes that take most of the oil offur skin and r really good 2 keep in ur purse

  3. The reason your forhead is oily is because its lacking moisture. I would you a light weight moisturizer I use Verlocity and its great!  You also need to drink lots of water. Sometimes our skin "freaks out" when we lack water

Hope i helped good luck :)

  4. Oily skin is genetic.

use clean and clear oil absorbing sheets.

they really work!  you can get them at target

if you start breaking out from oily skin then ask your doctor to prescribe you benzacilin.

  5. Use a cleanser marked "oil-free". It should help. I also recommend getting some blotting papers (Neutrogena makes them) to use before you go out. You can also carry them with you in your purse for touch-ups. Use a powder, not liquid foundation if you use foundation. Get a matte powder (such as Maybelline's Dream Matte Powder) to brush on your forehead as part of your routine that will hide the shine.

    Hope this helps!

  6. Use Rose water. I use it and you should see how my face glows. It really works..The oilyness will go away..just try that instead of other chemical products..This is natural and it does not have any negative effects..For all skin types..

  7. sounds like ur skin is combination oily and dry in certain areas u should be buying prducts that have written on the bottle for combination skin and try that that should clear the problem up for you, instead of using soap which can be harsh use a gentle facial scrub then rinse with warm water give ur face another rinse with cold water as cold as u can stand it, this will close all the pores then moisturise with a combination skin moisturiser hope this helps Gilly x
