Because you should not be getting your GIRLFRIEND pregnant.  If you want a child with her, consider marrying her first.

there's lots of normal reasons, from the fact you only have a 25% chance of getting pregnant each month, either you or your gf could have fertility problems, you might be missing the fertile period each month, go to your doctors after a year of trying and they will start to look into whats going on with you.

oww and ignore the people who say get married first! divorce is 1 in 2 in american now and 1in 3 Britt's nower days.! long as you love each other who cares if you have a baby first then get married and your both are committed to each other! that's all that matters.

It can take up to a year to get pregnant.  If she is still not pregnant after trying for a year, you both should see a doctor and be tested for fertility problems.

It took me about 11 months to get pregnant....and now i am 31 wks :]  ..good luckk... And just relaxx and have funn ...20% of a month a women can get pregnant...so every month only 20% of the time she can make it happen..good luck i wish u the best!!

Try looking at websites that tell you the best positions to maximise chances of pregnancy!

Could be lots of reasons.  Like, you're trying at the wrong times, she has fertility issues, or you have fertility issues.  She should go to the ob/gyn and get an exam if she hasn't had one recently.   She can discuss that with him/her.  I'm sure they have lots of information on what else you both can do.  Be prepared if she asks you to get tested as well though.

I don't condone people having babies out of wedlock, but there are places on line that you can find your ovulation date and if you already know and it still isn't working than there might be something wrong with one or both of you. You might have a low sperm count, she might not be ovating.

this is very common, 1 in 3 couples find it hard to concieve. I have been with my fella for 3 years without protection and nothing.

My husband and I haven't used contraception for about 3 and a half years, in that time I have only been pregnant 3 times (8 wk + at the mo).  The thing is, we have never actively tried, just taken our chances.  Work out your girlfriends most fertile time and concentrate at going at it like the proverbial rabbits during those times.  If after a while you have still not conceived, spk to a doctor.  I wouldn't worry too much, relax and hopefully it will happen for you.  Good luck xx

An average healthy couple only has a 20-25% chance of conceiving every cycle.  Are you and\or your gf keeping track of her ovulation?  How old are you and your gf as age affects fertility....does she have a regular cycle? Do you know if you have strong swimmers?  there are so many reasons -

Hi it doenst mean that it can never happen thought,are you trying for a baby or just pushing your luck really. Even if she isnt getting pregnant then you still should be using protection, so you are sure she cant. As what would happen if she did get pregnant.,

I only know this because my brothers girlfirend said the same that she was told that from another relationship she will find it hard to get pregnant not that she might never but might not be able too, then 3 months of dating and not using anything she got pregnant and they both werent really wanting to have a baby, but thank god they kept my lovely nephew.

Maybe your girlfriend is still on the pill and not telling you!  Are you sure your girlfriend wants a baby with you?

Having babies out of wedlock is not a good idea.  If you both want to make a family, get married first.  Then go to it.
