  1. Please separate them! They are two different breeds. I am sure you meant no harm, but they shouldn't be in the same cage. After you separate them, get another hamster of each kind and see if they get along. Usually, only hamsters from the same litter get along, and you are never supposed to buy one hamster from a litter; always two or more. Hamsters can die of loneliness, I know it sounds crazy, but they can. Unfortunately you did make a mistake, but it can be fixed. I know you meant no harm. : )

    Good Luck!

  2. there not suposed to be together golden hamsters are solitry and can fight til the death

  3. First of all, the dwarf hamster is smaller. Second of all, Golden hamsters shouldn't be with another hamster. They are very solitary and will maybe even KILL the dwarf, no joke. You should buy another cage for one of them.

  4. i have a dwarf hamster they are fragile well mine is maybe yours is too like they are dwarfs and little so your golden one must think that he can bully the dwarf one thats just a guess

  5. You aren't meant to mix hamster breeds together! Thats why!

Syrian hamsters (golden hamsters) are meant to be kept alone at all times, they do not appreciate company.

Dwarf hamsters are fine in same-s*x pairs most of the time, although sometimes males together can not work.

My advice would be to split them ASAP, before something bad happens.

  6. Hello.

You should NEVER house two different breeds together. Please, please get a seprate cage for each of them.

Your dwarf hamster is smaller, that is probably why. They shouldn't be housed together!

    Hope I could help.

    Have a great day.

  7. Because two different hamster breeds are NEVER supposed to be together.
