Why is my grass dying?

Question

Hi, my grass has been growing well throughout the summer months but as the temperature cools it seems to be dying in large areas. I've tried watering with various lawn fertilizers and cutting back on water as I thought it may be drowning but still no luck. I've also noticed that my neighbours seem to be having the same problem.

something in the soil perhaps, or the type of grass you've got.  Find out the type of grass, then find out how to best care for it.

Don't have the lawn mower to low either, or it will burn the grass and it will die.

sounds to me like youve had a heavy frost.it should come back when the weather warms up

If your mower does not have a mulcher, when you mow you must rake up the cut grass.  If you leave cut grass on top of lawn, this will kill out your lawn.  And if you fertilizer lawn alot, you must water the lawn everyday (soaked) or it will kill the grass.

You may have a warm season grass, that means when the temprature cools like in mid fall through winter they go dormant and turn brown  or off color. When spring and summer comes it begins to grow again.

lol I would say it's because God is trying to show all of you that no matter what you try to do, all of you are powerless and have no control over the outcomes of anything without His Will! lol Other than that, just be patient, I'm sure God will take care of your grass since you're showing that you care.

mite be lack of sun or u can try making holes with like a spike roller its so oxygen can escape from the ground :D thats wat my dad said

Is it the sun?Or you didnt water it?
