  1. try getting a shampoo especially designed for oily hair

    also dont use conditioner everyday.

    use fewer stylin products

reduce your stress level and try to eat healthy to balance out the oils in your body.

  2. Look for shampoos that contain no detergent or mild detergent like sodium laureth sulfate. You’d think that using harsher detergents would rid your hair of oil faster, but this is not true. These will only dry the scalp and increase itchiness, and actually cause more oil production.

  3. Mine is too. It isn't so bad when it is freshly highlighted, but, it's been 3 months since I've had my hair foiled. I don't know why that makes a difference, but, it does.

I use a lot of product in mine, too, so, that could be part of my problem. I try to not condition my hair every day, but, I have to wash it every day.

I don't know the answer. Shave your head? :-)

  4. Don't condition the roots...only condition the long part of your hair. This is what my hair lady told me to do...seems to work wonders!

  5. try different kind of shampoo or put more shampoo on or even scrub it hard with your hands or put shampoo on your hair twice

  6. Hormones.

I have oily hair too.  It was bad during my teens and had to wash it every other day.  Not as bad as yours, but bad.

Using shampoos specially made for oily hair helps a lot.  I use "Drama Clean" Herbal Essenses Shampoo.  I wash it every three days.  I never use conditioner.

The only time conditioner is put on my hair is when I get my hair done at the salon every three, four months because I get it lightened.  Oily hair does NOT  need conditioner.  It can make it worse.

  7. my hair is oily because i always rub my dirty finger thru it/ if i dont touch it all day it stays free of oil for 2 days!

try letting it air dry instead of blow drying it out to

  8. you might be using to much conditioner or not rinsing stuff out all the way

  9. switch shampoo and conditioners. look for something tht is for oily hair. also wash with just soap too

  10. "Use olive oil deep conditioner, as they can be better than some shop-brought products" says my sister

Keep trying different shampoo's and coniditoners until you find the right one for you. Give them a chance though!

And look out for ones which match your hairtype, like oily-to dry hair etc

  11. You need to use shampoo/conditioner that does not contain animal bi-products. Go to a health food store and buy natural shampoos. You will find products without animal bi-products will make your hair less oily

  12. Switch shampoos and dry your hair thoroughly after you wash it

  13. AHHH!

I have the same problem. It sucks!

I've found the best thing to do is change shampoos alot. I always use Herbal Essences and switch between all of their products.

Can't wait to see the answers.
