Why is my haircolor the same,when I just dyed it?

Question

Naturally I had Dark brown/black hair,and for school I decided to change it to a lighter brown.

It's been about 3 or 4 days since I've dyed it,and its reddish brownish at the top,and the bottom is still dark brown.

I've already dyed it twice.Same color,same brand.

no your age doesn;t have anything to do with it :)

basically your hair is so dark that that the dye hasn't had much affect on it.

Consider bleaching it first then dying it the right colour.

umm age dosent matter and check if its permanent or temporary (i know i sound stupid but you never know lol)  and yea your natural hair  color probably overpowers the lighter color
