Why is my hamster acting like a monkey?I hate that!!!!!!!!!!?

My grandpa bought me a hamster because I am always sad.So he did bought me a hamster.My mom dosen't have enough money to buy my hamster a new cage.Then one night when I was sleeping I felt scratching on my neck it was my hamster!!!Then my mom decided to buy my hamster a cage.So she did then I watched her for a lot of hours.Then after 5 weeks my hamster was acting like a monkey!!Now a lot of people say that she is really wierd and I should pick a different hamster but I did not care but I am still mad at those people who said mean things about my hamster!!

Many hamsters act differently. My hamster is usually calm and my brother's is hyper!! Your hamster is just playing. They love to climb and explore.

hamsters will be hamsters, i'm sorry that there's not much i can tell u but yeah. there is not much to do, that's just the way they r, i'm real sorry u think that.take the hamsters cage to a diferent part of the house so it won't bother u or  ur mother. if u r really upset with the hampster, try getting a new one to b friends with the hampster, he probbalby is just after attention, good luck to u and ur hampster!!! : )

First off first time hamster owners SHOULD NEVER HAVE MORE THAN ONE HAMSTER IN A CAGE, second off your a little unclear did your hamster have a cage before? you said your mother couldn't afford to get him a NEW cage implying there was an old one, if there was and you didn't have a problem with him in that cage I'd try fixing that one up, I've had to take the wire from an old notebook and fix up a cage so my hamster couldn't get out before, there's always a way just be creative.

your hamster might think that only monkeys are supposed to be putted into cages so that's why its acting like a monkey you see the point is your treating your hamster like a monkey i think you shouldn't put it inside the cage

You are probably mentaly challenged and not ready to take care of an animal let alone yourself. Why would you not have a cage or something that could contain him when  you bought it. You could have seriously hurt the hamster sleeping with it. You might want to rethink this whole pet responsibility thing. Oh and give your grandpa a slap in the face for getting you a pet.
