Why is my hamster sleeping alot?

it sleeps juring the day and night sometimes jusring the day shell go eat but she barly runs on her wheel any more i keep her cage clean and i take her out and play with her why wont she run on her wheel and why is she sleeping alot i give her a good diet too!

well i just get a hamster and she sleep alot at day and is up at night is that ok???and why do everytime i trey to hold her she run from me???

I may be getting a bit to old and if your hamster is on the diet TOO much, a bit more food should be in order

it's ok. my hamster sleeps a lot to.
they are nocturnal, which means they sleep in the day and sleep at night
it also depends on how old your hamster is.
mine is 1 years old, and she sleeps a lot
u can play with your hamster at night, because that's when they are awake.
but if your hamster is barely ever awake, and your that concerned take her to the vet, because too much sleep could be an unhealthy sign.
