Why is my horse getting lighter from a chestnut??

OK thank you so much Kiristin! But i got her in the Summer and she was a dark chestnut...hummmmm (???)

  1. It's the sun, it's bleaching your horses hair.  It'll darken back up during winter. No worries! :)


  2. Its just fading. Nothing to be worried about. And, if you want you could always say in the summer your horse is a sorrel and in the winter a chestnut(same color, sorrels are just more red and more of a western term).
