There is honesty and there is tact.  Tact is honesty filtered by what would or would not encourage the hearer.  Assume for a moment that your mother looked peculiar in some way.  Would you want that pointed out?

He is upset because you are making offensive comments about his family that he loves.  Honest is great, but some thoughts are better kept to yourself.  If nothing constructive can come from what you're saying there's no reason to say it other than just plain meanness.

To many hearts and not being able to pose a question in english. That is your starting place. I dont intend to be mean in any way. If you can't ask properly then nobody can help you with a situation.

You need to use white lies. If you were ugly as h**l would you want people saying it to you all the time? Probably not. I do believe honestly is the best policy and I was raised to be honest, but unfortunatly for you, you wern't taught how to not be rude. You know what s*x they are, stop being a f*ckin b*tch, thats his mom and nephew for god sake.
