Why is my ipod taking so long to download a DVD rental

I have rented a dvd from iTunes and have been downloading it for 2 hours now and it has only done about 2 bars and it says it has 26 hours left when I am going away tomorrow and it would be really good if I could have it on my iPod any suggestions to make it quicker?? plz help!!!!!

  4. That is realy a bumer. I just rented a movie too and it only took 45 minutes. Is your itunes conection off? Or maybe you should restart it all over agiain to see how fast it would go then huh huh . lol jk Do whatever you think is rite.

  5. If you're on dial-up you can expect to wait that long. If you're on DSL or Cable Modem or Wi-Fi I suggest you pause the download, close iTunes, reboot your computer and try again.
