Hello everyone! I rescued this abondoned kitten on August 25, 2008. He was either 1-3 days old because he had his umbilical cord still attached. He is almost 3 weeks old now. Anyways, yesterday while I was cleaning his bottom after he went to the bathroom, I noticed his a**s was sort of bleeding and was swollen. He seems to cry a lot when I wipe his bottom. I'm afriad it hurts him to go to the bathroom. What should I do?

  1. He may have several things going on here.  Parasites will cause redness and definitely swelling of the a**s.  At three weeks of age certainly the worms will try to take over an animal.

Call you vet first and ask him what to do, he will most likely like to see him for a visit.  Might save his little life twice!

  2. take him to the vet NOW!!!!!

  3. Take him to the vet
