Why is my kitten so nervous

My kitten is 4 months old and i've had him for about 2 months, he has been fine, just an average playfull kitten, hes also been getting along fine with my other 4 year old cat.

But this past week hes become really nervous, jumping at noises, or when something startles him. He doesnt seem to like being held as much now and seems to be spending more time alone.

What is wrong with him? I keep trying to pet him, but not force him, cause i dont want him to stay like this..what should i do?

  1. find something that hed like to play with

    Also food and treats help.

  2. Try to look into your cat more. If it is doing a lot of funny wierd stuff it may be sick. so then take it into the vet. But if there are no different things going on your cat may be adjusting to something new it found. it also may want to explore something it never explored. And if you let you cat outside maybe it went somewhere it shouldnt and it got very scared and nervous. =]]]]]]]]]

  3. he must be sick! take him to the vet quickly!

  4. LOL MY CAT DOES THAT SAME THING! REASONS

1.HE WAS TORTURED BY SOMEONE AND IS NOW AFRAID THAT SOMETHING MIGHT HURT HIM!

2.IF YOU NOTICED WHEN YOU TOUCH HIM AND HE JUMPS IT MEANS SOMETHING ATTACKED HIM EARLIER AND HE FEELS THAT YOU WILL HURT HIM!

NOTE:PLEASE DON'T HIT THE CAT AND USE A HIGH TONE OF VOICE TO IT. YOU WILL JUST CONFUSE IT AND MAKE IT AFRAID MORE!

    SOLUTIONS:

    1.DON'T HURT THE CAT!

    2.PET HIM GENTLY!

3.ALWAYS BE KIND AND LOVING TO IT!

  5. You might want to go to a vet! Or not to offend you or anything! He might have been raped or seen something to him that startled him. One other thing is that his thing is gone. Anyways the vet is a best choice to help him

  6. i know this doesnt help

    but this is sooo cute

    "playful kitten"

i melted at how adorable that was =DDDD
