  1. Sounds like your Siamese has alot of Personality! But THAT's the way they tend to be... She's NOT Weird... -Just YOUR's... So ENJOY Her (& DON'T wear Stockings around Her!).  :)

  2. The digging claws in and out, that's call kneading, often referred to as "making biscuits".  Kittens do that while nursing to help their mother's milk flow better.  Many cats will do that even after they have been weaned, either to comfort themselves or because they feel so comfortable with the person they are doing it to, that they feel like a tiny kitten again, remembering that feeling of being nurtured and cared for.  Many cats do it once in a while, but if a kitten gets taken away from its mother before it is ready, it may do it a lot all the time. I have one that I found in a tree after a rainstorm, when she was just tiny.  I was never able to trace down her original family to return her.  She kneads on me every night.  What I do is make sure her claws are trimmed regularly, then I also will put a blanket between my body and her paws, to cushion me against getting scratched, and then I just put my arm around her while she kneads.

  3. Siamese cats are pretty weird, in my experience...

My mother's siamese randomly bites too. It's part of being loyal to its owner. She's biting you to show you that you belong to her. She licks your nose to show affection.

What you described at the end is called "kneading." All kittens do it. Mine did for the first couple of weeks I had him, and it got really annoying, but now I miss it because it was so cute!  Kittens knead their mother's belly to stimulate milk flow.

  4. It sounds like your kitten is trying to play with you...don't be afraid to get on the floor and start playing with her...who cares if you look silly just show her some fun....my cat gives me what I call "play bites"......your kitten is probably doing the same...she is trying to show you how to play...and as for the meowing she probably takes that as an invite to come and play so just have fun and stop calling her weird because all cats and kittens are "weird" in some way or another...

    PS have fun!!!

  5. She's "kneading you".  That's something a lot of cats do to their humans.  It's a special thing that all kittens do when they are nursing their mothers.  The main problem we humans have with this behavior is when the cats nails are too long and they dig in and out of our skin like we're being pricked with a million fish hooks.  Keep your cats nails trimmed and let her knead away.

She just loves you.  She's not weird at all.

  6. shes not weird.

from the sounds of it, she's just a cute energetic kitten

enjoy it while it lasts =]

  7. You are blessed with an idiotic kitten!  That's what makes them so good!  And all the answers you have are wonderful except for Uncle Festus who would have suggested wok [not walk] the cat if he had been that canny ....  Truly, cats CAN be trained, by the way.  Get a water gun ... it's harmless and effective and, um, sort of fun in an evil kind of way ....   You know, I have to mention here that I totally LOVE managing bad cats with my dollar store water pistol [It's such a bargain - I also shoot tv commercials with it (happy sigh) ....   :/

Uncle F!  Normally your answers never disappoint me!  Bad mood tonight?  Are you just a dog-not-cat kind of guy?  That's OK...  Wanna talk?   moie!
