Why is my kodak camera not loading pics and videos on my computer?

In many cases if you have already been able to download photos and videos on the Easy?Share software on your computer, a couple of things have gone wrong.

First your computer lost the "driver" software and you need to uninstall and then re-install the Easyshare software on your computer.  This lost of communication is caused by just adding another device to your computer lately or improper close or power down during operation.

Second, if you use a DOCK station, unplug it and replug, and drop your battery out of the camera for a few moments and then put it back in.

Digital Cameras can be temperamental and electronic glitches can be "reset" by tripping the power source as you would a fuse box.

Lastly, Easyshare demands that you FIRST install their software, BEFORE you hook up the dock and or camera USB to computer upon initial installation.  If you did this backwards, then start over.
