Why is my laptop not receiving wireless internet at places that do have wireless internet??

I tried everything.. I clicked repair but it wont connect to the wireless network.. I took off firewall and turned on the wireless network button on the side of my laptop and it still wont connect to the internet. I keep clicking refresh to see available networks around my area but still nothing shows up. I don't know whats wrong with this laptop because it hasn't been able to receive wireless internet at alot of other places too.

u need to check the driver for wireless in system to see whether been recognised by your computer or not then if yes see if enabled
