Why is my left leg pain?

During the day I was at home or at work, my left leg feel fine and healthy. Then in the evening, I was out to play 9-hole disc golfing. During disc golfing, my left leg starting to hurt, I wondered why that happen and how can I help it?

  1. If it doesn't go away soon, go to your doctor and ask for a script for McKenzie therapy to treat a possible herniated or bulging disc.  Leg pain can be a sign of a bulging disc and from the twisting you did, it is not out of the question.  Find a therapist to treat you here:  www.mckenziemdt.org


  2. Maybe you pulled a muscle while you were playing golf. Put some heat on it. If it hurts really bad you might have to go to the dr for some muscle relaxers.

  3. Try massaging it or sit in the tub of epsom salts.  The water in the tub has to be as hot as you can stand it that this will help the leg(s) to relax.  Depending on how much water you put in, that you put a half a cup of the salts in the tub.  Or you could go in a hot jacuzzi.  You might have pulled a muscle.  Good luck.
