  1. Well, hopefully your gecko is living. If not, then we have a problem.

But if it IS living, then obviously it got cut on something. My advice would be to let it stop bleeding and forget about it, because everyone gets cuts once in a while.

Now.. if it ISN'T living, then it means someone put blood on your toy gecko. You have to find out who that is, and put a stop to their madness.

  2. Is it swollen, retaining shed, or just cut?

  3. does he have any cagemates? Has he recently shed? If it's stoped bleeding you can use povidone iodine solution or neosporin on the toe.

  4. If you want actual answers, instead of guesses, you need to give some background info.

  5. umm maybe it got hurt

  6. check if got hurt maybe the toe got hit by something

  7. It is possible he just caught it somewhere, depends on what you have in your tank with him. However it can get infected pretty easy depending on the size of the wound so I would consider taking him to the vet.

If he was shedding recently and any of the skin was pulled off that could also be a reason. Make sure when he sheds the only way you help him is by either spraying him with some water or putting him in warm water for a short time.
