Why is my long distance not working?

If you can call local but not long distance, call your Long Distance carrier.  Sometimes, when a subscriber discontinues service, someone at the phone company will make a mistake and shut off the wrong account.  I have also heard of people's long distance carrier being changed with out their permission.  This is called "slamming".  Your long distance carrier should be able to get to the root cause of your outage.
