You are feeding him to much or she is going to have babies if she is a girl she probally is a girl also try taking her to the vet and get a wheel for her cage

I can only think of one answer(well two but it's not a girl, is it???). It ate too much.

Maybe you feed him too much!Or make sure he's a male and not a female!!!

Well is it a syrian or a dwarf. If its a syrian check his bum, they're should be two pink lumps there. If not it's a female. If its a dwarf, it's a little harder to check. Males have two holes that are far apart and the females have two holes close to each other that actually look like one hole. Also have you just recently gotten your hamster? If you just got it, the place you got it from might have thought it was a boy but was actually a girl and might be pregnant. Or you might be just feeding him too much.

Maybe you are feeding him to much or the food is healthy. Try buying him a healthy food and get him a exercise wheel.
