Why is my movie maker not importing my video? (LOTS OF POINTS!)?

I have vista and i uploaded a video to my computer and its not letting me upload it to movie maker to edit it.

Help?

    Your operating system has little to do with the video transfer.


  3. you may need to use WMM as the program to import your video from your camera.  it could be that easy...
